The art of fine Thai cuisine

The setting of Thai Gallery is a fusion of old and new.  Striking imperial red is stylishly splashed with gold; a serene courtyard approach offsets the lively cosmopolitan atmosphere inside; and the traditional Thai ambience is counterbalanced by contemporary art. The colourful collection of art mounted elegantly on the walls has become a main talking point when referring to Thai Gallery, and some of the Coast’s finest abstract artists exhibit their work in the restaurant. The colourful cuisine is a true reflection of the setting. The menu is an eclectic combination of perfectly presented creative dishes, inspired by traditional Thai cooking but finished with modern tones. To begin with, choose from a list of appetisers, salads and soups – chicken and coconut with lemongrass and lime leaf, and the spicy seafood soup with sweet basil really are musts. Coriander, ginger, chilli, basil and garlic add a truly authentic touch to the cuisine and complete the list of dishes laced with spices, fragrant herbs and flavour.
