After 50 years of experience in the boat building industry, Elan also entered the world of motor yachting three years ago - with a special focus on introducing new sailing enthusiasts to the sport.
Experts are said to be particularly fond of the Elan Power E35 as "the perfect symbiosis of functionality and elegance", with the main features including a centred helm position for enhanced visibility and an en suite bathroom in the owner's cabin.
The aerodynamic outline of the hull is shaped like a deep V, establishing a smooth ride and less movement, even in rougher seas; and the vessel is also equipped with power steering and EDC gears as standard, ensuring that manoeuvring into small ports or bays is "child's play".
Two Volvo Penta engines with Z-drives provide a top speed of 35 knots; while the range at cruising speed is about 10-12 hours.
The cockpit roof contains a centre section that can be opened to allow steering while standing up. The back of the boat has a large seating area and wet bar, with an ample sunbathing area on the fore ship and a bathing platform with teak decking.
Below deck, the interior comprises a panoramic saloon, exclusive owner's cabin and additional double cabin - for maximum comfort on longer cruises.
On the technical side, the 35-foot structure is GRP and isophtalic polyester, with sandwich topsides and a solid bottom.
