THE WORLD OF CHLOE
Chloe have launched their first perfume in over 10 years. The Chloé Eau de Parfum is meant to embody the classic modern scent. Robertet perfumers Michel Almairac and Amandine Marie worked jointly on the fragrance, using peony, lychee, freesia, magnolia, lily of the valley, amber and cedar wood. The Chloé Eau de Parfum line-up comprises 30, 50 and 75 millilitre sprays, a 200 millilitre body lotion, a 200 millilitre shower gel and a 100 millilitre deo spray. We all love the clothes so let’s hope the scent is a hit too.

STAYING PUT
Living in Spain we all need a good waterproof mascara that stays put in the heat and doesn’t leave panda eyes. I was pleasantly surprised when I tested Estée Lauder Double Wear Mascara: it actually went onto my lashes smoothly with no clumping. Not only that, but it also defined and lengthened my lashes, though it’s still not as good as my YSL Faux Effect. When will that be beaten? It does what it says on the tin and lasts 15 hours due to the innovative polymers which lock in the mascara to keep it on lashes all day. FACELIFT IN A JAR
There are not many products that really make me go “wow”. I tried the Athena 7-Minute Lift product under one eye, so I could see if there was a difference. (I am always sceptical.) Hailed as botox in a jar Athena 7-Minute Lift reduces the appearance of sagging skin, lines and wrinkles without expensive injections − using 12 organic Greek essential oils. Daily use increases your long-term results; and it is clinically proven to significantly reduces the appearance of fine lines and facial wrinkles an average of 83 per cent.The jar comes with a foundation brush for application and a DVD. You only use the tiniest amount, (meaning the €90 price tag doesn’t seem so bad) and sit and wait for seven minutes without moving. The results were incredible: my sun lines had completely vanished. According to fellow devotees, the more lines you have the better it works. One lady went to pick her husband up from the airport and he wouldn’t believe that she hadn’t had an eyelift while he was away, until she showed him the jar. He then promptly bought one for himself. Frown lines, crows feet and crêpey décolleté all disappears for seven hours. Kind of like Cinderella when the clock strikes 12… you better run.
