Versace’s fabulous new look for their winter collection is all about new shapes, new materials and new colours that accommodate three different occasions created by the fashion house: a formal/business look; a fashion-conscious look; and a sportswear line that is casual yet tailored.
Items for each of these three occasions can also be teamed together to create an individual look.Colours included in the range cover a wide selection from the grey spectrum: pearl to gun metal to London fog; many different blues including periwinkle; and navy with military green and camel inserted for particular pieces.
Coral and scarlet break up the collection and add a touch of brightness to the range.Most of the jackets are fitted at the waist, giving an hour-glass look; while trousers are neatly tailored.
Dresses from the collection sculpt the body and are brought in at the waist by a belt; and heavier coats play a crucial role, adding a glamorous touch as they fall to thigh level.The main fabrics are silk, cashmere and nylon, with inserts of fine leather and glossy satin for key pieces; while knitwear is used for a more casual look. Shoes, belts, bags and berets complete this extremely functional collection – appropriate for any occasion.
