IN THIS CONTINUING SERIES FEATURING MOVERS AND SHAKERS WHO HAVE SETTLED ON THE COSTA DEL SOL, WE SPEAK TO OLINDA BORGGREN, A SWEDISH MODEL AND TV PERSONALITY WHO WAS A CONTESTANT ON THE US REALITY TV SHOW JOE MILLIONAIRE.

As a child, Olinda Borggren enjoyed many happy times at her parents\' summer house in Marbella. It was no surprise, therefore, when - years later - she decided to move to Spain and settle on the Coast. She says there were two main motivating factors: "The weather is much better here, and I get more privacy and I\'m not hassled by paparazzi and the constant pressure of the media."
After many years modelling, Olanda made her TV debut on two programmes in the US, including the dating show Joe Millionaire. She was also planning to star in Sweden\'s version of Simple Life, but the project fell through and she was asked to do Paradise Hotel instead - managing to "cause some intrigue and stir up emotions in Sweden".
After that she consolidated her TV career with various projects, while also working with boyfriend Patrick Michael Larsson on their own travel programme, "Little Italy" - where they had the opportunity of meeting footballer Paulo Maldini and Pope Benedict XVI.
She has also written for magazines, released a "Playboy Bunny" house music single in Sweden, is currently working on an album and is continuing her modelling career after being signed by an agency in Milan.
If that doesn\'t keep her busy when on the road away from Marbella, she is working on a drama script and, with musician and singer Patrick, is collaborating with a US production company. "I am doing a little bit of everything," she says, "and really enjoying it. We are planning to move to LA but will always keep my place in Marbella, because this is where I truly enjoy living and I think it\'s the best place in Europe if you like nature and sun."
