Celebrity Interview - Miguel Angel Muņoz

A new step forward

Miguel Angel Muñoz A new step forward

Words by 01/11/2006

One of Spain's most versatile young performers, Miguel Angel Muñoz has cultivated various genres since featuring in the El Palomo Cojo film aged just nine. He went on to appear in several popular TV series; and was the voice of Brad Pitt in the Spanish-dubbed version of animated Disney film Sinbad and the Legend of the Seven Seas.
His role in the TV series Un Paso Adelante (One Step Forward) led to a successful dance and pop music career as a member of the UPA Dance group; and his own solo single, Tu Dirás Que Estoy Loco, was number one on the Spanish and French charts.
Now Miguel Angel has decided to put his musical career on the backburner and focus on acting. He has film roles in Desde Que Amanece, Apetece and Spanish blockbuster Los Borgia; played the leading part of the postman in an ambitious theatre adaptation of the play El Cartero de Neruda; and appears in the TV series Mis Adorables Vecinos.
Away from work, he enjoys following latest fashions, and playing football and wakeboard, and dedicates as much time as possible to charitable causes, including Alzheimers and Fibrosis fund-raising foundations, and anti-drugs campaigns.
During a break from this hectic schedule, he also found time to complete our special questionnaire.
